Healing: Exercising Your Faith in Elohim's Words

In this article I will continue with the summary of Rev. Kenneth Hagin's book “Healing Belongs To Us.” In the previous article it was discussed that   may be received through the manifestations of supernatural gifts. It was emphasized that an individual does not operate the supernatural gifts but that they are manifested through the individual.

Let us now look at the receipt of healing though the exercising of out faith by accepting the promises of Elohim's words.

Matthew 8:17, Matthew is quoting from Isaiah 53:4 and says, “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias (Isaiah) the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses.” Note that Isaiah 53:6 also says “.....the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”

Two-fold Redemptions
Did you notice the two aspects of Isaiah's prophesy and proclamations? (1) God (Elohim) has laid my iniquities on Jesus (Yahooah) and (2) God (Elohim) laid my sicknesses on Jesus (Yahooah).

So this means that you can receive forgiveness for your sins and you can receive healing for your sicknesses if you believe God's words and act on them. Ask and do, as it says in Mark 11:24:
“Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire when ye pray believe that ye receive [them] and ye shall have [them].

And in Matthew 7:21-23:
Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say unto me that day, ‘Lord, Lord did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

So Matthew is giving an account of Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) emphasis on believing and doing what the words of God (Yahooah) says. Remember then that healing belongs to us so we must reach out our faith, believe and ask for what we need. Also forgiveness for sins belongs to us and so we must believe, reach out our faith and ask for forgiveness then strive to obey the Words.
