His Will Be Done in EarthYahushua told his disciples in teaching them to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10 NKJV). How and when will the kingdom of heaven invade the earthly realms, and destroy the strongholds of demonic darkness?
The kingdom of heaven will invade the earthly realms when the people of Yahua (God) intercede and in faith declare it to be so. Let us look at some of the invasions that have occurred as a result of the people of Yahua interceded in faith. Charles Finney (1792 - 1875) is considered to have been one of the greatest revivalist in American history. Whenever Finney preached in a city, the entire region was powerfully impacted by the holy presence of Yahua. Churches would be overwhelmed with new converts and crime rates would fall drastically.
Charles Finney's IntercessorWhile so much has been written about Charles Finney, very little is known about an associate of Finney, Daniel Nash. Nash's ministry was a ministry of prayer and intercession. Nash would go before Charles Finney's arival at the city where the revival meetings would be held. He would check into a boarding house and began praying for the meetings that were coming. He would sometimes stay in his room completely for days at a time as he devoted himself totally to intercession. Sometimes people reported hearing weeping and groaning coming from Nash's room as he prayed for the Holy Spirit's power to be released and that a mighty harvest would be reaped when Charles Finney came to preach.
The Spiritual Floodgates OpenWhen Nash felt that the spiritual atmosphere had been prepared he would send word to Charles Finney that the the town was ready. When Finney came and preached the gospel, the flood of Yahuah's holy converting glory overwhelmed the town and many people would be saved from their sins.
His Kingdom will come and His will be done in earth as it is in heaven when Yahuah's people earnestly and consistently intercede in faith. I love what John Bunyan said, "You can do more than pray after you have prayed, but you cannot do more than pray until you have prayed."
